There could be over 12,000 people who have been diagnosed with HIV but are not currently in care for treatment.

Finding every single one of these people so that they can be linked back into HIV treatment and supported to live well with their HIV must be a priority for their health and wellbeing. And unless it happens, the goal to end the onward transmission of HIV, and end AIDS-related deaths by 2030 will not be achieved.

This demands a national strategic approach which must be supported with appropriate funding. To have got to the point where 1 in 10 people living with HIV are not in care is a huge concern and requires us to think differently and with solutions that meet the scale of the challenge.
