National HIV Testing Week returns in 2026, and it has never been easier to check your HIV status. From Monday 9 February, people across Calderdale are encouraged to take a test and know for sure.

HIV testing is free, confidential, and quick. You can test at home or in community and clinical settings. A simple test gives you clear answers and peace of mind.

Testing matters because HIV does not always cause symptoms. Many people can live with the virus for years without realising. The only way to know your status is to test.
