National HIV Testing Week (10–16 February 2025) is an annual campaign encouraging people to get tested, know their status, and help end the stigma around HIV. Testing is quick, easy, and confidential, and early diagnosis ensures better health outcomes while reducing transmission.
Since its launch, National HIV Testing Week has played a key role in increasing testing rates across the UK, normalising conversations about HIV, and improving access to treatment. The campaign is particularly important for those at higher risk of HIV, but everyone can take part by raising awareness and supporting local services.
Find out about testing taking place in Calderdale and nearby.
You can also access this free training to help better understand HIV (and Hep C and TB). There will also be a Bitesize Session on HIV, PrEP, and PEP.
